I have a PhD in Biblical Studies and many years of pastoral experience. The combination of these experiences has made it clear to me that those responsible should do all in their power to help establish a close relationship between the people and the Bible. For the “person in the pew” it seems that the only connection with the Bible is during Sunday morning worship, and that relationship often leaves much to be desired. This blog is an attempt to help bring about a more significant relationship.
A scholarly attempt at an interpretation of Sunday's liturgical readings.
