About The Class

What is Biblical Interpretations?

Biblical Interpretations is a 12 Week interactive class that goes step by step from A to Z exploring functional concepts of interpreting the Bible.

How long is the class?

Class is once per week, 2 hours per session for 12 weeks.

Who is this for?

Anyone who has an interest in asking why. We believe this class can be of value regardless of one’s religious or theistic beliefs. This class attempts to express a paradigm of human cognition that might explain the function of religion throughout human history.

Is there a cost?

The class is free. The book and mapping materials are available to purchase at a price you decide.

When Will Class Begin?

The next class session will begin in January of 2025.

Where Will It Be?

In person and online. Currently looking for a venue, ideally somewhere in the south suburbs of Minneapolis: Bloomington, Richfield, Eagan, Burnsville, Savage, Apple Valley or Lakeville, Minnesota. The in person session will be streamed and available to watch online.

James has a B.A. in Biblical & Theological Studies and Ancient Near Eastern History from Northwestern University and Jerusalem University College. This class stems from a lifetime of active struggle in Biblical Thought, Hermeneutics, History, and a desire to love and understand humanity. James gravitates towards practical intellectual curiosity & application of thought in daily living.
